In connection with the ongoing legal proceedings, PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry (“GNI”) hereby states that, based on the decision of the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court in Case No. 140/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2026/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst,GNI has been placed under a Temporary Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPUS) in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
Prior to the issuance of the foregoing decision, GNI had undertaken various amicable settlement efforts with the relevant parties through intensive communication and negotiations aimed at achieving the best mutually acceptable solution. GNI has consistently acted in good faith and adopted a cooperative approach in fulfilling and resolving its obligations. Nevertheless, the PKPU proceedings have continued in accordance with the applicable legal mechanisms and prevailing laws and regulations.
GNI respects and will comply with all provisions set forth in the Court’s decision. The PKPU process is a legal mechanism under Indonesian law that provides an opportunity for debtors and creditors to reach a settlement of outstanding obligations through a structured, transparent, and equitable restructuring process. Throughout the PKPU proceedings, GNI will endeavor to ensure that its business operations continue to run in the ordinary course and without disruption.
GNI believes that the PKPU process constitutes an appropriate mechanism for fostering a constructive dialogue between GNI and its creditors in seeking sustainable solutions to its existing obligations. In carrying out the PKPU process, GNI will continue to uphold the principles of transparency, accountability, good corporate governance, and full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
GNI expresses its sincere appreciation for the support, trust, and cooperation extended by its employees, creditors, business partners, government authorities, and all stakeholders throughout this process. GNI remains hopeful that the PKPU proceedings will progress smoothly and result in a fair, constructive, and sustainable resolution for all parties involved, while also serving as an important step toward strengthening the Company's financial structure and safeguarding the long-term sustainability of GNI's business operations.
