- We state that there was a work accident at PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry (Company) site location yesterday, 26 June 2023, in which one of the victims who was an employee of the Company was pronounced dead after having first aid and treatments
- The Company expresses its deepest condolences to the victims family. Meanwhile, other victims who were also involved in the accident have received intensive care at the nearest Health Service Facility.
- The Company prioritizes victims handling in this accident and has implemented the fulfilment of victims rights in accordance with applicable regulations, where currently we continue to provide assistance to the victims and victims families.
- In line with the above , we hereby inform that an investigation is being carried out to assess the main cause of the accident The Company has provided an initial report of the accident to the relevant manpower institution and continues to liaise in handling this accident with other relevant parties.
- The Company commits to invite all parties in the Company to continue maximizing the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) to maintain an optimal and conducive work environment , thus an unpleasant] event like this will not happen again
