PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry Celebrates Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day with Various Competitions at its Jakarta Headquarters

Jakarta, August 21, 2025 — PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry (GNI) joined in celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia with a strong spirit of togetherness. The festivities were not limited to the Morowali Utara operational site in Central Sulawesi; the Jakarta headquarters also hosted a series of activities and competitions to mark the occasion.

The series of events at the headquarters was held in a lively atmosphere, with the active participation of all employees. A variety of competitions—including Rock-Paper-Scissors, Emoji Guessing, Spinning Human, Caterpillar Balloon, Hand-and-Foot Relay, and Singing—were organized to foster a sense of togetherness, joy, and the spirit of mutual cooperation that embodies the essence of the Indonesian nation.

PT GNI Director Zhou Guozhong stated that the celebration at the Jakarta headquarters serves as a form of appreciation for employees and a tangible expression of the company’s commitment to fostering a sense of togetherness across all levels. “I wish to honor the Indonesian people who continue to strive and contribute to various aspects of the nation’s life today. In addition, PT GNI Director Zhou Guozhong stated that the company is committed to three key priorities: enhancing the quality and professionalism of human resources, realizing sustainable social responsibility, and innovating to develop technology and green energy in support of Indonesia’s 4.0 strategy.
